Books change lives

1000 Libraries does a lot of things. We publish books. We promote libraries & bookstores. And we proudly change the world. 50% of our profits are donated to programs supporting literacy efforts world-wide.

Our mission is to support 1000 libraries for children who need it the most

For some people, books are obsolete objects gathering dust and taking unnecessary room. For others, they are a chance for a brighter future.

our philosophy

More, with less.

Charities & non-profits spend majority of their donations on admin expenses. Very little resources actually make it to the community. We do things differently. It turns out, you don't need millions of dollars to make lasting impact. Staying small allows us to work with true change-makers & local leaders, so we can squeeze every dollar to make the most good possible.
